Westcroft administration centre

A n internal remodelling project to create an improved administration space, an office for the Head Teacher, a larger staff room and a guided reading room. Externally, an improved access was needed to enable students to access the upper school.

 

 The new reception, relocated to a more prominent position and equipped to meet the needs of the client.

 

The entrance lobby allows visitors a welcoming and comfortable space with access to the remainder of the site is controlled from within the admin suite.

 

 

With a full time head teacher and a job share for Deputy Head the space available needed to be flexible and capable of accommodating the ever changing requirements.

The new guided reading room provides a light and well ventilated space within the hub of the school for small group activities and has become the venue of choice for community liaison meetings ensuring the school is fully integrated with professionals and parent representatives.

As always it is necessary to up date and improve faclilities to match the changing needs of the pupils. DDA comatible access was need to the upper school when a pupil progressed to the upper school. This was the original provision.
