It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing of Jim Campbell, who died in Surrey on 15th September after suffering a massive stroke almost a week before. His cremation will take place on Tuesday 26th September at 9am, but he categorically did not want a funeral service !

Jim, a former A.A.J.L.R. - Tonfanau Boy Soldier, graduated from RMPTC Chichester with Squad 72 in November 1965. Some will remember him when a Cpl in 1 (BR) Corps Provost Company – Bielefeld and with London District Provost Company. He obtained a commission and went on to serve as the OC 177 Provost Company in Northern Ireland.

Others may well remember him from Karachi, Pakistan, in the 1980’s, when he was the Security Manager for the US Oil & Gas company ‘Union Texas Petroleum’, then regional security manager of the same company in London during the 90’s, and eventually served as their Corporate Head of Security in Houston Texas. Jim was 70 years of age when he passed away and is survived by his loving wife Jane.
